Latest Technology

Our office uses modern, state-of-the-art technology to enhance patient comfort and to help you get the smile you deserve!

CerecState of the Art Ceramic Restorations

CEREC® is a computer-aided design and ceramic restoration system that allows us to create permanent restorations in our office. That means we can design, fabricate and place an incredibly aesthetic ceramic restoration in a single visit

MagnaVu's tremendous magnification will allow us to see details possibly unseen before. Freeze images for patient education or record entire procedures onto a DVD recorder and hand them to the patient. MagnaVu PSII features powerful, white LED lights that are extremely bright, as well as being cool to the touch.

In-house Lab

Customized dentures, partials, athletic mouthguards, whitening trays, and other essential prostheses are predominantly fabricated in our laboratory. Darryl is our personal laboratory technician, and Dr. Huff personally sets each denture tooth to create the "perfect" smile.

Computer Digital Radiography (CDR)

Digital x-rays can now be taken using sensors that transmit the image directly into a computer monitor. This larger image helps the patient understand the doctor's explanations more easily and enables the doctor to "zoom in" on a specific area of the tooth. An important advantage to this new technology is that it reduces the amount of radiation by 90%. Digital x-rays are also faster. The digital image only takes a minute or two to appear in the monitor. In addition, this new technology is friendly to the environment since no chemicals are needed for developing the image. digital xray

VELscope®

While the VELscope system can help clinicians discover several types of abnormal tissue in the oral cavity, it is perhaps best known for its ability to assist in the discovery of oral cancer and precancer.

OralDNA Labs

Recent advances in the field of salivary diagnostic testing now allows us to specifically target the types of germs that cause gum disease in each individual patient with appropriate treatment and specific antibiotic therapy. Saliva analysis is also helpful in predicting the response a person may have to disease processes, which can be very helpful in correlating appropriate maintenance programs for optimal oral health. Finally, salivary diagnostics can help identify whether or not a patient's mouth has been exposed to the human papilloma virus that causes oral and cervical cancer.

OralAdvance™

OralAdvance™ is an innovative test designed to detect early-stage oral cancer. Technologies such as OralAdvance™, combined with regular oral examinations, greatly improve the chances of early detection and thus have the potential to lower the mortality rate for oral cancer.

OralCDx

OralCDx represents a breakthrough in oral cancer detection, a test that will allow you and your dentist to improve the prognosis of a disease that has remained unchanged for the last 50 years.

OralCDx is the first computerized brush biopsy system. It allows dentists to quickly, painlessly and reliably detect oral cancer in its earliest, most easily treatable stage.

Originally developed as part of the “Star Wars” missile defense program, the OralCDx computer system includes a neural network-based image processing system specifically adapted to detect abnormalities unique to oral brush biopsy samples.

DIAGNOdent

The DIAGNOdent is a new high tech laser system that aids in early diagnosis of cavities in the complex anatomy of the chewing surfaces of teeth. It utilizes laser light of a defined wavelength to help detect and quantify demineralized tooth substances without x-ray exposure.

invisalign

Adult "invisible braces" (which are not really braces at all, but clear plastic retainers) are a new technique for adults to obtain the results of braces without wearing braces! This technique, which is effective only for mild to moderate crowding, utilizes a series of retainers (computer generated or lab constructed) that are worn sequentially until the desired correction is achieved.

Digital Photography

We utilize the latest in technology to instantly capture images for use in treatment planning and evaluation.

Conebeam Imaging Technology

New conebeam imaging technology, which offers approximately 80% less overall radiation than traditional helical CT scans, allows precise treatment planning for implant placement. These images can be recreated to actually form 3-D models of the skull, jaws, and sinus cavities. Conebeam imaging has revolutionized the diagnosis of anatomy and hard-tissue conditions of the head and neck. Click here for more info: Imagingcenter.case
